Book Review

In the book "The Lightning Thief" By: Rick Riordan, the three main characters involved throught-out the book are Percy who is the narrator of the story he's the person the whole book wraps around and it dont help much that hes the son of a god. Then you have Grover which is the "the helper" who also plays a key position of percys cross-country trip. Grover is half boy half goat. Theres also Annebeth "the important sidekick" to the whole thing shes the one with the brains, the one that thinks before she goes out does something. The setting takes place in New York at the beginning of the book and the story often refers back to New York several times through out it. But alot of the book is across the United States as these three kids travel from New York to California. The book is about a human stealing a gods lightning bolt and the gods blame Percy for it because hes the son of one of the gods and only humans can steal from gods so they think that he did it and this story is about how he trys to uncover who did it and prove that he didnt do it. I would recommend this book because its very funny and theres hardly never a part during the story where this book is not entertaining. And for two this book is like 400 pages but it dosent seem like it all because its a quick read, you will never want to put it down. Third its written very good and its good for all ages to understand and love it.!
